And the funnier way of saying that is….

Are we doomed? Now that is a question worth posing. The rational possibility, perhaps likelihood, that we are on an irreversible course of the doomed suggests that if we choose to continue to struggle for an improved future it may be a good idea not to invest too much of ourselves in the chances of the future being better.

Having written that, I think about how some long simmering struggles presently on the upswing in the rest of the world counter the doomed world philosophy.

If you have something to believe in you cannot surrender yourself to the River of the Doomed. I believe in Liberty, a value much shit upon these days. It gives me the strength to keep swimming upstream. It is hard to keep swimming with so many bloated bodies cluttering up the water however.
