tell me something…..

so, i have been blogging here for over a year, and i’ve noticed recently that my stats are going up and up (which means i’m talking to more than the corner of my cubicle). so i’m curious? who the hell are you?

my friend error posted the following questions on his blog recently. i am posting them here. please leave a comment if you feel so inclined (yes, even those of you who know me) – i am interested.

Who are you?
Where are you?
What do you do?
How long have you read my journal?
Why do you read my journal?

  1. I’m a Canadian.

    Toronto.

For now, since school’s out, I post in my blog (www.pointlessafterthought.blogspot.com) and surf other blogs through BlogExplosion and BlogClicker because I have absolutely nothing better to do than try and get visitors to my site.

This is the first time I’ve been here, via BlogExplosion, so I haven’t read anything other than this post.

I read this post because it’s interesting in the way that I’ve never seen anyone ask that on their blog. Maybe when I get a lot more visitors I might do the same.

    Cheers!

i am currently in regina, sask

i do so much. a few examples; i do youth programming in sexual wellenss and health for girls, i’m about to go back to school, i do crafts, i work out in a gym, i ride my bike everyday in the spring, summer and fall, i make short movies, i create a lot of different kinds of things…and there’s a lot more and i won’t go on.

i have been reading this journal since shortly after You started it.

i read it because it helps me feel included in your life Megan, being so far away from you and not being able to be in your living room chatting with you, eating with you, laughing and just generally hanging out with you. i also read it because i really feel you when i am reading. the way you write, i resonate with. it just helps me feel close to you even though we are so far apart in proximity. i hope you know how close you are inside my heart with me.

currently i enjoy riding my bike all over town, and around the province. I spend a lot of time doing fundraising work for a local women’s shelter, and i consider myself an anarchist and pro-feminist man. I’m also a language nut, and currently i’m working on renewing my spanish knowledge in preparation for an extended trip to venezuela.

I’ve been reading off and on for the past year or so.

I read because you’ve got so much insightful writing up here, and because i like hearing about what’s up in your life.

i’m also starting to think there’s something to this “blogexplosion” thing…i’ve never heard of it before i read the previous comments here, but it seems like it has some good info on blogs from what these dwids are saying about it. i’ll have to go check that out.

  5. i am rox.
i am in germany, though not originally from here.
i work for the US army here. i hate my job.
i just came to your journal via blogexplosion, saw this post and thought i would help you out by answering your questions.

  6. I subscribe to Derrick Jensen’s discussion list; You included a recent post from your blog there, and I dug it– a lot.

I’m a tech refugee, trying to find my way 🙂

I live in Bend, Oregon where I moved to be closer to people who give a damn. Still figuring out if anyone else does. You seem to, so I visit when I have a chance.

  7. Stephanie here.

When you first started blogging, over a year ago, I read a post where you described your depression. And I thought to myself, well if a fucking-cool-has-it-together-person like red cedar gets depressed, then maybe I’m not such a loser myself for also getting depressed and going through rough patches.

And then I got inspired to start my own blog!
