More apocalypse, less angst
One of the things I promised to do when I came back to the city was start with the semi-regular dinners that I used to have years ago at Kitchener Street house – affairs that started with a bunch of ingredients, an assortment of rowdy hungry people, and ended with the polishing off of several bottles of wine.
Now, we are all much less rowdy than we used to be, but the community/communal dinner is something I very much miss in my life and I want to at least attempt to do this during the weeks when I am in town. I have decided that it’s time to get down to scheduling the first of those and am picking the date of February 22nd to do it.
I’ll pick a food theme shortly, and send emails to those of you who are interested in coming over to cook, eat and socialize with your fellow east-vansters… but for now, put the date in your calendar (I have) and we’ll materialize something yummy I’m sure.
