100 Day Project (2026)

This is my accountability page for the 2026 100-day project since I’m no longer really using Instagram. I haven’t done a 100-day project since 2023 which was focused on watercolour and ink. This year, I’m going to use this period to deep dive into weaving learning, since I’ve recently gotten back on the loom and it’s capturing my attention again. My parameters are to do something weaving-related every day – be that learning, gathering inspo, warping a loom, drawing patterns or colour palettes, or simply sitting down at a current weaving project.

Day 2 | February 23, 2026: Starting a “finishing” sample out of the last piece of fabric I wove – trying out some different fringe finishing techniques to see how they look and wash-up in the fulling process. This piece will become part of my samples catalogue.

Day 1 | February 22, 2026: Today I “tuned” my loom to the warp I put on it right before I got sick. This process entails balancing out all the shafts and lamms to get a clean shed for weaving on. After this, I wove half the yardage for a meditation shawl I am weaving for myself.
