More apocalypse, less angst
20/100, March 13 2026: All the placemats woven and taken off the loom!
19/100, March 12 2026: The start of placemat #10
18/100, March 11 2026: Placemat #9
17/100, March 10 2026: Placemat #8
16/100, March 9 2026: Back at the weaving loom on my return from retreat, this is Placemat 7 which I finished on day 16.
15/100, March 8 2026: Here is a 10-shaft pattern and a colour graph I’m calling Chinese lanterns. I’m going to put this into a weaving software program next to see if I can get a more efficient treadling/threading layout. There is nothing overly original about this, but it’s my first foray into 10-shaft patterns.
14/100 | March 7, 2026: I’m re-learning how to graph weaving patterns. I was taught this years ago, but then completely forgot. I want to create some 10-shaft weaving patterns for my loom – 10-shafts being an odd number and almost completely impossible to find drafts for.
13/100 | March 6, 2026: A little bit of work on a palette for plaids – using the colours outside my window on a rainy day.
12/100 | March 5, 2026: Snuck in placemat #6 before leaving for a few days of retreat. It’s the same as placemat #5 but with some colour!
11/100 | March 4, 2026: Wove placemat #5. This is my favourite one so far.
